UK’s joblessness level declines to 4.1pct

(MENAFN) The UK’s joblessness rate dropped to 4.1 percent in the third quarter of 2021 as job roles soared to a new record of 1.25 million in Q4.

There are marks that show Britain’s labor market is developing in accordance with the decrease in job roles to the lowest level from the beginning of Covid-19 pandemic.

The Office for National Statistics noted, the amount of individuals on firm payrolls increased by 184,000 in December, in spite of the spread of the Omicron strain.

The Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak mentioned the final data was “proof that the jobs market is thriving, with employee numbers rising to record levels, and redundancy notifications at their lowest levels since 2006 in December”.
