UN says millions of Yemenis struggle with hunger


(MENAFN) According to the United Nations, lots of Yemenis are facing an increase of hunger within lack of food aid.

The UN refugee organization UNCHR tweeted "Displaced families in Yemen face rising hunger due to the cut of food assistance," adding that more than half of four million expatriated Yemenis "live in areas categorized as an emergency food situation."

In line with the UNCHR "In January, millions will receive reduced food ration", while mentioning that the UN relief and assistance organizations in Yemen, as well as the World Food Programme, are running out of aid.
