TEDPIX plummets 11,682 points on Sunday


(MENAFN) On Sunday, TEDPIX, Iran’s benchmark stock index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), dropped 11,682 points to reach 1.31 million.

As stated, 4.73 billion securities valued at 23.459 trillion rials (around USD80.893 million) were exchanged at the stock exchange.

The first index of the market plummeted 11,932 points, and the second index of the market tumbled 12,025 points. TEDPIX tanked 29,000 (2.1 percent) to 1.334 million during the previous Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday).

Throughout last week, the largely followed indices were of Mobarakeh Steel Corporation, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Corporation, Iran Khodro Corporation, Saipa Corporation, Social Security Investment Corporation, National Copper Corporation, and Barekat Pharmaceutical Group.
