A sublime Kevin De Bruyne goal helped Man City seal a 1-0 win over Chelsea and go 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League.

The win means City has won 12 consecutive Premier League games and a virtually unassailable lead at the top of the table.

De Bruyne saw an effort saved before Phil Foden danced through the Chelsea defense but saw no teammates anywhere near his pullback across the six-yard box.

The home side should have gone into the interval ahead as Chelsea were caught in possession in their own half and Jack Grealish sent through, but Kepa Arrizabalaga rushed off his line to make a superb save to deny the £100 million man.

Chelsea almost took the lead straight after half-time with their first shot of the match. Mateo Kovacic picked up a loose ball and fed Romelu Lukaku down the middle, but his effort was well-saved by Ederson. The rebound fell for Hakim Ziyech who blazed over from 18-yards.

De Bruyne received a pass from Joao Cancelo and spun away from N'Golo Kante, evading the Frenchman's attempt to bring him down. He drove in-field from the left and looked to offload a pass into the box. With no options on, he superbly bent the ball into the far corner, leaving Kepa with no chance.
