Customs Department: Commodities circulated in some media outlets not Jordanian

Amman, Jan. 14 (Petra)-- Jordan Customs Department (JCD) Director General Maj. Gen. Jalal al-Qudah, on Friday, clarified that commodities circulated in some media outlets were not Jordanians but were lists of goods issued by the World Customs Organization (WCO).
He told Petra that the recent government decision to reduce customs duties on thousands of imported goods is the largest customs reduction ever, and its positive effects will be reflected on citizens and include various sectors.
Al-Qudah urged all media outlets to investigate accuracy and credibility when dealing with this decision and its positive effects.
