(MENAFN) On Friday, the stock market in the United States closed with mixed records. The Dow Jones index dropped 201.81 points, 0.56 percent, to close at 35,911.81 points by the end of the week.
At the end, the S&P 500 rose by 3.82 points, or 0.08 percent, to hit 4,662.85 points. The Nasdaq increased by 86.94 points, or 0.59 percent, to reach 14,893.75 points at the end of the week.
Despite the fact that European and Asian indices ended the day on a negative note, by the end of the day Turkey’s BIST 100 index closed on positive one.
