Ukraine, Azerbaijan reach new high trade level


(MENAFN) Last year, Ukraine and Azerbaijan mutual trade revenue reached a new all-time high of around USD1 billion unprecedentedly during the previous seven years.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated at a shared media briefing with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, “Despite the pandemic, the trade turnover hit a record high of almost $1 billion for the first time over the past seven years,” reported a Ukrinform journalist. Both countries agreed to increase their two-sided commerce before 2024.

Ukraine’s president reported, “We also seek to increase the amount of mutual investment and the number of large-scale joint projects. In particular, the participation of Azerbaijani companies in the Great Construction projects,” explaining that he refers to the execution of shared ventures Ukraine and in Azerbaijan.
