Google enlarges its building in UK


(MENAFN) Google purchased a vibrant office site in London for USD1 billion as it waits the completion of construction on its HQs in the UK.

On Friday, Google declared that it attained every Central St. Giles building, where it already takes some floors in London’s West End.

Ronan Harris, vice president and managing director of Google U.K. and Ireland, in a blogpost stated, “Our investment in this striking Renzo Piano-designed development represents our continued confidence in the office as a place for in-person collaboration and connection.”

Harris mentioned that Google intends to renovate the office during the coming years, in addition to having spaces for cooperation, pods, and covered outdoor working spaces.
