Turkey to lower its inflation rate by mid-2023

(MENAFN) Based on the Turkish treasury and finance minister, the country is going to hold general elections in mid-2023 with one-digit inflation after inflation reached its highest peak this current month.

Along with the economic condition when the next elections are expected to be organized, Nureddin Nebati highlighted a variety of subjects, from prearranged stages in the country’s new economic model to the development in its new FX-protected deposits scheme.

Nebati reported to a news agency in an interview that was out on Friday, “we’ll enter the general elections in June 2023 with single-digit inflation.”

He also mentioned, "there will be a decrease (in inflation) this May with the decline in food and energy prices."
