Saudi production market investment surpasses USD4B


(MENAFN) According to SPA reported quoting the minister of industry and mineral sources, the investment capacity in Saudi manufacturing goods has surpassed SR15 billion (USD4 billion) towards the end of September last year. Bandar Al Khorayef said that industrial amenities in Saudi Arabia have hit 230.

Based on the report of the National Industrial Information Centre, with a 27 percent localization rate, the country’s industrial facilities have supplied almost 10,000 work opportunities in different technical, mechanical and supervisory sectors.

Saudi production industries involve an extensive range of goods, and that involves jewelry, medicine equipment, contact lenses, bikes, toys and others.

The report demonstrated that the capacity of exports for the Saudi output industry surpassed SR436 million (USD116.1m), with gold bars and garment sectors on the top of the exports list.
