Russian Tatarstan president condemns ruler finishing his leader position

(MENAFN) The top president in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan condemned a new rule stopping his position as a leader.

On the words of Rustam Minnikhanov in a news session in Kazan, Tatarstan's post was not considered after the new rule on local governmental power was approved.

Minnikhanov added "The law has been passed, and we’re law-abiding people. But it so happened that our voice was not heard on some issues."

The rule forbids the leader of Russian areas from using the title of leader, as Minnikhanov was the last local president who used the title.

Russian Leader Vladimir Putin inked a rule on the structure of public expert in the areas on December 21, which among other things stops the prohibition on rulers performing consecutively over two terms.
