Ukraine, Seychelles ink visa-free travel deal


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine endorsed a draft agreement with the Government of the Republic of Seychelles on mutual abolition of visa requirements.

The relevant decision was made at the Cabinet's meeting on December 23, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to the explanatory note, the draft agreement provisions stipulate the introduction of visa-free entry and stay of citizens of Ukraine and Seychelles in the other country for up to 90 days within 180 days.

The conclusion of the agreement and the implementation of its provisions will allow establishing a mutual and permanent visa-free travel regime for any purpose of entry and a maximum length of stay.

The document aims to implement the internal procedures required for the conclusion of the agreement.

As of December 2021, Ukrainians can enter 160 countries under a simplified procedure; visa-free regime is established with 108 countries and territories.
