Turkish Erdogan: Turkey to not end free market principles


(MENAFN) Turkish Leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that his country is not going to end free market principles, and emphasized that Turkey is not going to set up a controlled foreign trade rule.

At the Academy Awards Ceremony of the Science Dissemination Society in Istanbul's Dolmabahce Palace, he stated "The Turkish economy will continue on its way in line with the rules of free market economy, as it has done so far."

Erdogan as well underlined a statement that Turkey may require an "economic state of emergency" is not right, and clarified "The economic policy implemented by our government is advancing completely in the direction we have determined, except for the cyclical fluctuations in the exchange rate."

He added that administration is going to keep fighting higher interest volumes, declaring "Do not expect anything else from me.”
