SpaceX to launch NASA's Space Observatory into space


(MENAFN) On Thursday, Dec. 8 Elon Musk released a statement talking about his SpaceX, that it had successfully launched NASA's Image Processing X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE) space observatory into orbit. "IXPE deployment confirmed," the firm tweeted, along with a clip of the procedure.

A Falcon 9 rocket carrying IXPE started up from Cape Canaveral in the American state of Florida on Thursday. Following the secession of phase two that placed the observatory into orbit, the first phase managed to land on a moving platform in the Atlantic Ocean.

IXPE is a space observatory of 3 telescopes weighing an overall of 325 kilograms. The study seeks to investigate a few of the planet's greatest tumultuous and harsher climates, such as black holes, neutron stars, and polarized x-rays.
