Britain vows GBP 1B to support Ukraine - Zelensky

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine has said the United Kingdom will allocate GBP 1 billion in a bid to support the country.

Zelensky broke the news on Twitter , according to Ukrinform.

“Great news from London: UK will allocate an additional £1-billion in support for Ukraine. That means new investments, trade, security,” President Zelensky wrote on the evening of Wednesday, December 8.

As a result of his negotiations with Boris Johnson held last year, the total volume of British support thus increases to GBP3.5 billion, the tweet adds.
