Pakistan confirms 1st case of new COVID strain


(MENAFN) On Thursday, Pakistan stated that it has confirmed its first case of the newly-discovered Covid-19 strain, Omicron.

The infected is a woman who does not have any history of international travel. Moreover. She went to a private hospital with Covid-19 symptoms in the harbor city of Karachi.

Based on the Health Ministry of Sindh province, of which Karachi is the capital, the state of the individual, who didn’t receive vaccination, is steady, and quarantined at her house.
