Amazon: Alexa to perfect Saudi dialect

(MENAFN) Amazon introduced Alexa in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, providing users with a brand-new, locally tailored language comprehension in the Arabic Khaleeji regional accent.

Alexa, the brain behind the Echo machine household, has a slew of additional properties designed specifically for Saudi buyers, including home automation collaborations and approximately 200 Alexa abilities.

It aims to provide a customized experience for buyers, along with a local accent speech with a distinct style that will astonish and please them—local phonetic spellings and tone of voice; understanding of local meanings; and approximately 200 Alexa abilities from Saudi programmers and cultural businesses such as Anghami, Al-Arabiya, MBC, Careem, Fatafeat, Al Baik, Sabq, and others.

Tom Taylor, Amazon Alexa's chief VP stated, “We’re incredibly excited to bring Alexa and the Echo family of devices to Saudi Arabia.”
