International banking procedures to constrict next year

(MENAFN) According to Fitch Ratings which is an international rating agency statement on Monday, international banking guidelines are predicted to progressively stiffen in the upcoming year because of predictions of a sustained return to pre-pandemic standards.

Fitch stated that it predicts the reestablishing of macroprudential strategies, which are financial strategies intended at guaranteeing the steadiness of the financial system.

The agency instructed supervisors to concentrate on risks regarding cyber security, climate change, as well as cryptocurrencies.

It also mentioned, "for many developing markets, macroprudential policies linked to financial stability risks, and adherence to supranational requirements will continue to be the main determinant of regulatory reform agendas."
