Mevlut Cavusoglu: Turkey, Qatar must be example in humanitarian help to Afghanis


(MENAFN) In line with the Turkish foreign minister, the delicacy of Qatar and Turkey in offering humanitarian aid to Afghanis should prepare an example to the world.

Mevlut Cavusoglu addressed in a news session with Qatari foreign minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani in Doha “The Afghan people need serious humanitarian aid. The international community needs to deliver this humanitarian aid to the Afghan people, regardless of political motives. Qatar's and Turkey's sensitivity should set an example in this regard” also stressing that he is collaborating with organizations of the two nations to give extra humanitarian aid, adding that Turkey allocated funds that were sent for humanitarian assistance.

Cavusoglu as well said “Turkish Maarif Foundation continues its educational activities. It keeps many of its schools there open and 10 of these are schools for girls.”
