Somalia receives Sinopharm inoculations from China

(MENAFN) China delivered 500,000 shots of Sinopharm coronavirus inoculations to Somalia to face the epidemic in Somalia during the spread of Omicron variant.

The delivery of the inoculations shows Chinese dedication to achieve its vows and immunize the Somali people, in line with Chinese Diplomat to Somalia Fei Shengchao.

Fei affirmed in Mogadishu "It speaks to China's commitment to putting people and their lives first, and closing the immunization gap in Somalia.”

He added that the two countries are going to collaborate to improve their long spirit of China-Africa bond and mutual aid.

Fei went on to declare "China will work with Somalia to fight the pandemic, deepen medical and health cooperation, protect the life, value and dignity of every individual, and make a fresh headway in building a China-Africa community with a shared future in the new era."
