In line with its commitment to enhancing public health and protecting the wellbeing of community it operates in, Fine Hygienic Holding (FHH), one of the world's leading wellness group and manufacturer of hygienic products, has launched two campaigns providing support to breast cancer patients and survivors in collaboration with Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital and Zahra Breast Cancer Association.
These initiatives aimed at increasing the awareness about breast cancer and support women to reduce their breast cancer risks by, undergoing regular examinations and promoting the importance of following good hygiene practices during the treatment and recovery periods.
In partnership with Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, Jeddah Amanah, and Jeddah Cyclist, FHH sponsored a marathon and an awareness campaign at the Jeddah Waterfront. The initiative was also part of FHH's strategy to strengthen its partnership with stakeholders and local communities.
Further, FHH partnered with Zahra Breast Cancer Association for its second breast cancer awareness campaign aimed at providing support to uplift the spirits of patients. The company also distributed over 300 safety and hygiene kits of its world-renowned sterilized tissues, antiviral personal protective equipment (PPE) and long-lasting germ protection solutions, to help ensure the patients' safety from germs and viruses throughout their treatment and recovery period.
James Michael Lafferty, Chief Executive Officer of Fine Hygienic Holding said:“Breast cancer is considered as the second leading cancer among women, with over 2 million women diagnosed with it. FHH aims to do what it can to support those who are suffering and recovering from this illness. Our campaigns are directed to raise awareness particularly in the significance of early detection and prevention, as well as the importance of maintaining good hygiene during the treatment and recovery periods. We encourage women to regularly practice self-examination for early detection and intervention.”
Efforts have continued as Saudi women participated in these initiatives created to support cancer patients. FHH also urged members of various communities to be aware of the illness and be involved in supporting breast cancer patients.
