Doha: Episode 11 of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Magazine Show, the monthly instalment on YouTube and FIFA.com that brings you some of the top football stories ahead of next year's World Cup, is available now!

In this month's episode, we look back at the ceremony that saw the unveiling of the official countdown clock for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 on 21 November. The design of the unique clock was inspired by the unbroken loop that makes up the Qatar 2022 emblem, and the ancient timekeeping tool of the hourglass, both reflecting the interconnected nature of the event.

On the subject of time, the magazine celebrates the years spent by World Cup winner and ex-Spain star Xavi Hernandez in Qatar, where he enjoyed great success as a coach with Al Sadd before deciding to take the helm at Spanish giants Barcelona, his home for the majority of his playing career.

We also meet up with several coaches of the national teams participating in the ongoing FIFA Arab Cup 2021, including Qatar's Felix Sanchez, who dreams of leading the hosts to the title on home soil.

Sanchez will rely on striker Almoez Ali, who talks to the magazine about the early days of his football career with Aspire Academy and his aspirations at next year's global showpiece, after winning the AFC Asian Cup.

Finally, film buffs will be interested in the magazine's segment on the Ajyal Film Festival, laid on by the Doha Film Institute at the Katara Cultural Village, where a host of directors discussed the links with football and the World Cup.
