Indonesian embassy in Qatar hosts a book launch

The Indonesian embassy in Qatar hosted the launch of dubbed“Mutiara Inspirasi dari Qatar” (The Pearl of Inspiration from Qatar) on December 4. The event began with opening remarks delivered virtually by the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mahendra Siregar, and the Secretary-General of the Indonesian Ministry of Labour, Anwar Sanusi.
The special event was held in collaboration with the Indonesian embassy in Qatar and the Indonesian Community Association in Qatar (Permiqa) and supported by the Ministry of Labour and Indonesia Diaspora Network Global. It was held both in-person for the authors and contributors, and virtually for general audiences.
“Mutiara Inspirasi dari Qatar” was written by the Indonesian diaspora in Qatar. It tells about the ups and downs of the Indonesian diaspora in the country in earning a living while making their country proud.
