(MENAFN) On Monday, the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is arranged to go to the Sultanate of Oman.
An announcement by the Omani Royal Court stated that the visit is “an affirmation of the historic relations between Oman and Saudi Arabia."
Matters of shared concern are going to be talked about during the trip “to serve the interests of the two countries and meet the aspirations of their peoples towards a more prosperous future,” the statement said.
Monday’s trip is going to be the first by bin Salman to adjacent Oman, which Saudi Arabia has had good ties with over its pleasant relations with Iran.
In July, Omani Sultan Haitham bin Tariq arranged a trip to Saudi Arabia, his first foreign visit since he took power in January last year after the death of Sultan Qaboos.
