Turkey repeats its will to contemplate to de-intensify Russia-Ukraine stress

(MENAFN) Turkey restated its will to consider to de-intensify increasing stress amid Moscow and Kyiv between worries for Russian armed build-up close to the frontier with Ukraine.

Turkish official spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin updated Anadolu Agency "We are ready to play our role to de-escalate tension between the two countries, with whom we maintain good relations."

Repeating that Turkish Leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan suggested to Russian Leader Vladimir Putin in this context, he stated that more increase would damage all participating groups.

Old stress for Russian unlawful capture of Crimea in 2014 was worsened by Russian-supported rebels in the eastern frontier area of Donbas, with a Russian armed buildup criticized by the West.
