Bayern Munich grabs 3-2 win in Bundesliga derby against Borussia Dortmund in week 14 on Saturday.

Last season's champions were tied with opponents Dortmund heading into the weekend but forged a three-point gap – two clear of Saturday's early second-placed winners RB Leipzig – despite trailing to an effort from Marco Reus.

Julian Brandt brought an early lead to his team in the 5th minute at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund.

The Bavarians responded quickly as Polish star Robert Lewandowski scored in the 9th minute and equalized the score.

French winger Kingsley Coman made it 2-1 in the 44th minute and the first half ended.

The Black and Yellows did not back down in the second half as young star Erling Haaland equalized the score again in the 48th minute.

Both sides seemed equal in strength until the referee awarded a penalty to Bayern Munich in the 77th minute; Lewandowski scored his second goal and the game ended 3-2.

Bayern Munich is at the top of the Bundesliga table with 34 points, widening the gap with the runner-up Borussia Dortmund to 4 points.
