Global smartphone brand Honor unveiled the Honor 50 Series in Qatar at a special event held in Safari Mall, Abu Hamour, on Thursday in collaboration with Tradetec Group, which is the official distributor of Honor smartphones in Qatar.
The latest addition to Honor's smartphones, the Honor 50 and 50 Lite, will come with enhanced features and powerful camera capabilities for vlogging along with supporting Google Mobile Services, and is set to be the 'perfect blend of innovative technology and iconic design', according to a press statement.
The above-mentioned flagship models were jointly unveiled by Shaheen Backer, managing director, Safari Group of Companies, and Asraf N K, COO of Intertec Group, in the presence of Safari Group and Tradetec officials.
The Honor 50 series is designed to be the ideal device for always-on users. It provides powerful camera capabilities and innovative features with multiple shooting modes that fulfil all the demands to capture and shoot great moments and encourage users to spur their creativity and create a world filled with emotions, whenever and wherever they are.
The Honor 50 is equipped with an enhanced camera setup, consisting of a 108MP vlog camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera for epic landscape shots, a 2MP depth camera for shooting portraits, and a 2MP macro lens for close-ups. The 64MP main camera of Honor 50 Lite significantly improves resolution and contrast for clear pictures day and night. The 8MP wide-angle camera allows users to capture more elements in the frame, while the 2MP Macro camera is designed to shoot as close as 4cm
Both Honor 50 and 50 Lite pack a 4,300mAh battery, giving users all the power they need to keep them connected throughout the day on a single charge, and are armed with Honor's 66W SuperCharge, a fast-charging technology that means the battery can be powered up to 70% from flat in just 20 minutes.
The brand-new Honor 50 series adopts an elegant and unique design. The Honor 50 comes in three colours - Frost Crystal, Emerald Green and Midnight Black - and also features a 'mesmerising effect that sparkles like diamonds under the light, making it stands out from the other devices'. The Honor 50 Lite comes in three Deep Sea Blue, Space Silver and Midnight Black.
