Turkey condemns reckless statements on Turkish territorial integrity


(MENAFN) On Friday, Dec. 3 the Turkish defense minister gave his insights on the called People’s Assembly of the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria which provoked Turkey’s regional honesty.

Hulusi Akar mentioned, “We hear some reckless and meaningless statements about our province of Hatay,” saying that these remarks have no significance or value.

He further stated, “We do not have our eyes on anybody's land,” with saying that lessons should be taken from history when it comes to eyeing any Turkish land.

On Thursday, Dec. 2 the Turkish FM reported: “We strongly reject the impertinent and unlawful statement targeting the territorial integrity of our country, which has been made by the regime’s so-called People's Assembly which is devoid of democratic legitimacy and under no circumstances represents the Syrian people.”
