The joint committee to remove abandoned vehicles in the country recently held its regular meeting, led by Major-General Ali Salman al-Hassan al-Mohannadi, head of the committee. The meeting discussed what has been achieved through various campaigns to remove abandoned vehicles across the country since their launch in January. The meeting reviewed the outcomes of the campaigns and discussed the challenges and negative aspects involved and how to overcome them in future campaigns. Accordingly, Major-General al-Mohannadi reviewed the committee's work plan and mechanism for 2022, which will be finalised this month. Under the plan, the work will be more intensive as the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 approaches, the Ministry of Municipality said.
