(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the provision of state guarantees on a portfolio basis to 12 creditor banks in 2021, Ukrinform reports, referring to the press service of the Finance Ministry.
On December 2, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution 'On providing state guarantees on a portfolio basis in 2021.'
'Implementation of the document allows providing state guarantees to 12 creditor banks that have been selected to receive a partial state guarantee of liabilities on the loan portfolio for micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises,' the Finance Ministry said.
The maximum amount of such guarantees for each individual creditor bank is also determined, and the Minister of Finance is empowered to enter into relevant transactions.
Following the results of applications received from banks, the maximum amounts of state guarantees on a portfolio basis totaling UAH 8.084 billion were set for the following banks: JSC Oschadbank - UAH 2 billion, CB JSC PrivatBank - UAH 2 billion, JSB Ukrgasbank - UAH 1.5 billion, JSC Ukreximbank - UAH 1 billion, JSC Tascombank - UAH 600 million, JSC OTP Bank - UAH 500 million, JSC Piraeus Bank ICB - UAH 139 million, JSC Bank Alliance - UAH 100 million, JSC Creditwest Bank – UAH 95 million, JSC CIB - UAH 90 million, JSC Asvio Bank - UAH 30 million, and PJSC MTB - UAH 30 million.
