Femi holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in humanities/social sciences (BA [Hons] Philosophy, MA [migration studies]; PhD [Sociology]) from both South Africa and Nigeria. He is an applied Social Scientist with an interest in the issues of clinical sociology, sociology of health, eHealth, health promotion, global health, gender and sexualities, knowledge translation, research methods & ethics - with experience and expertise in gender relations, LGBT/queer studies, socio-behavioural interventions, health management & promotion, health system strengthening, mHealth interventions, HIV/AIDS, implementation science and process evaluation of complex interventions.
