(MENAFN) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a public announcement saying that the construction of airports is currently taking place in 16 cities in Ukraine.
The president stated, “For the first time in many years, the new national air carrier will be able to fly to the new regional airports we are building. In total, we are currently building airports in 16 cities of Ukraine,” as he addressed Verkhovna Rada regarding Ukraine’s status internally and externally, reported Ukrinform.
A fresh global airport is set to be constructed in the region of Zakarpattia among the cities Uzhgorod and Mukachevo, in addition to two national airports which will be kicked off in the eastern part of Ukraine, mentioned Zelensky.
