Bangladesh - Biman plane hits cows while taking off from Cox's Bazar Airport


(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka: A Biman Bangladesh Airlines plane on November 30 hit two cows on the runway of Cox's Bazar Airport during takeoff. The cows died but the 94 passengers on board were safe.

Several officials in charge of security at the Cox's Bazar Airport, confirmed the matter, according to reports.

The accident happened around 5:57 pm on November 30 when a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, carrying 94 passengers, was departing from Cox's Bazar for Dhaka.

Cox's Bazar Airport sources said the flight landed safely at HSIA at 7:05 pm.
