Russia's second consignment of humanitarian aid arrives in Kabul.

Taliban's Ministry of Natural Disasters Management on Wednesday, December 01 said that Russia's second consignment of humanitarian aids arrived in the Afghan capital Kabul.

Officials of the ministry said that the consignment weighs 36 tons that includes flour, sugar, and tea.

Russia's deputy ambassador based in Kabul said that another tranche of humanitarian assistance weighing 36 tons will arrive in Kabul soon.

The country's first shipment of relief assistance that weighed 36 tons had arrived in Kabul over two weeks ago.

Russia has pledged to be providing the people of Afghanistan with 108 tons of humanitarian aid.

It comes as Russian President Vladimir Putin has recently called on the West especially on the US to release over $9.5 billion of Afghanistan's reserves to help address the deepening humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
