Ukrainian Finance Ministry: Country obtains USD227M of debts


(MENAFN) Ukraine will get USD227.08 million of debts from global fiscal organizations under the outline of the scheme Urban Public Transport of Ukraine II, reported Ukrinform, in reference to the media briefing of the finance ministry.

Deputy Finance Minister Oleksandr Kava declared: “We see an increased interest of local communities in participating in such projects and offer them further expansion of tools for the development of urban mobility.”

He further added: “By investing in the development of public transport and its infrastructure, we stimulate the economic development of our country, creating new jobs at engineering enterprises, as well as ensuring the development of environmentally friendly domestic public transport. This is a good opportunity for the city authorities to improve the quality of life for citizens.”
