(MENAFN) First Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Oleksandr Kornienko, stresses that outline for the law on next year’s State Budget of Ukraine (No. 6000) must be seen early this week, which starts on Tuesday, Nov. 30 and ends on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
This commentary took place at a conference of the Conciliation Council on Monday, Nov. 29, and reported by a Ukrinform journalist.
The first vice speaker announced, “We understand that one of the main functions of the legislature is the budget one ... We expect the next year’s draft budget to be filed by the government soon. I would like us to consider it this week because leaving such an important process for the last parliamentary week would be a risky endeavor,” adding “according to the calendar, we have no more issues to address in the session hall so there’ll be work in constituencies and within the committees, No we need to consider the project so that we don’t find ourselves in a situation on New Year's Eve where we need to return to the session hall.”
