Emirates airline: Air travel to face difficult challenges due to Omicron

(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Nov. 30 Tim Clark, Emirates airline President, December’s travel season is being hugely struck by the Omicron strain, causing “significant traumas” in the international sector of air travel.

The company’s president stated, the firm was preparing itself to face the recently founded strain as it believes omicron can be overcome by vaccination, however, he also reported the coming few moves would be challenging for the aviation sector as medical specialists measure the dangers.

He noted at a meeting, “I would say probably by the end of December, we’ll have a much clearer position,” adding “but in that time, December is a very important month for the air travel business.”

“If that is lost, or the winter is lost to a lot of carriers, there will be significant traumas in the business, certainly the aviation business and the periphery,” Clark informed.
