A tech company is gearing up to launch a new line of human-looking robots, but they want them to have a friendly face.
Tech firms will pay a brave volunteer $280,000 to use their face on their robots which will work in hotels, shopping malls, and airports by 2023.
The company said it is hunting for a 'kind and friendly' appearance, but they will be open to applications from people of all races and genders, though you'll have to be over the age of 25.
Promobot is hoping to launch its robots in hotels, shopping centers, and airports in North America and the Middle East from 2023.
It said on its website:“Our company is developing technologies in the field of facial recognition, as well speech, autonomous navigation, artificial intelligence and other areas of robotics.“Since 2019, we have been actively manufacturing and supplying humanoid robots to the market.
'A robot with a new appearance will start its activities in 2023, and a selected person's face will become this robot's appearance,' Promobot explained.
