Qom province in Iran registers lowest inflation rate at 40 percent


(MENAFN) The study of the most recent statistical data published by the Statistical Center of Iran (SCI), demonstrates that Qom province registered the lowest inflation rate with 40 percent in the time span of 12 months which ended on November 21, that indicates the end of the eighth Iranian calendar month Aban.

Based on the SCI’s statistics, the largest inflation rate for 12 months is associated with Ilam province with 52.2 percent.

The SCI has set the regular inflation rate during the mentioned time frame which ended on November 21 at 44.4 percent, dropping one percent from the number of the twelve-month ended to the seventh Iranian calendar month.

SCI has set the nation’s point-to-point inflation rate at 35.7 percent in the eighth month of the current Iranian calendar year, which conveys that families have spent an average of 35.7 percent more for buying the same set of goods and services during that period, in comparison to the same period of last year.
