Erdogan to make return trip to UAE by next February


(MENAFN) Recep Tayyip Erdogan, president of Turkey stated that he is going to make a return trip to the Emirate in February accompanied with a huge delegation.

On Sunday, Erdogan stated to reporters Sunday on the airplane returning coming from a trip to Turkmenistan's capital Ashgabat, saying "we had a meeting with (Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh) Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in 2011. After that, we went through some different periods, but we did not completely break away. At least, the intelligence agencies continued their talks with each other. Meanwhile, our trade relations have also continued."

Welcoming the trip by the Abu Dhabi crown prince, the Turkish president stated that the agreed deals are warm steps that are going to initiate a new period between Turkey and the UAE, making it long-lasting.

Mentioning that he is going to make "a return visit in February" to the Emirates, Erdogan declared that before his visit, Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and head of National Intelligence Organization Hakan Fidan are going to also visit the nation.
