ECO members deliberate advance of business, asset


(MENAFN) The presidents of member nations in the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) talked over how to advance business and asset chances in its 15th Leaders' Conference which took place in Turkmenistan's capital Ashgabat.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the meeting, gave the government's term position to Turkmen leader, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.

The company, which was established by Turkey, Iran, and Pakistan in 1985 as a continuation of the Regional Cooperation for Development, was then attended by Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan in 1992.

Erdogan as well commented on the financial prospective of the area, the effect of the pandemic on the world, and the problem of Cyprus, in addition to violence.

He added “We should make more use of the high potential offered by our geography, which has a population of approximately 500 million in an area of 8 million square kilometers (3.09 million square miles).”
