Netherlands finds new cases of Omicron variant

(MENAFN) The fresh covid-19 strain Omicron was found in 13 individuals who go to the Dutch capital Amsterdam on two air flights from South Africa.

They are between 61 travelers who found the results of the test to be positive for covid-19.

It takes place as stricter regulations take place in the Netherlands during listed cases of Coronavirus and fears of the fresh virus.

This contains closing the industry of hospitality and cultural places, and restrictions on home products.

The new variant was announced by the World Health Organization (WHO) by South Africa on Wednesday, Nov. 25, and new proof shows a greater chance of infections. The WHO said it is a “variant of concern.”
