(MENAFN) A Chinese central official for Taiwan businesses underlined that the reunion of the homeland is the general trend of history and a just cause maintained by every Chinese person.
Liu Jieyi, who is the leader of the Taiwan Work Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council commented at the eighth Cross-Strait committee academic forum.
He added that sustained labors are going to be made to develop Cross-Strait combined improvement and build more ties amid nationals in the Taiwan Strait.
Jieyi in addition declared that the nationalist militaries looking for "Taiwan independence" present a problem to national transformation and as a result have to be rejected.
