Muslim scholars union: Associations with Israel ‘forbidden’


(MENAFN) The International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS) announced that it called associations amid some Arab states and Israel “forbidden”.

The IUMS affirmed “The Union affirms that what some countries, such as the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Morocco, have committed to indulging in alliances and practical steps with the occupying Zionist entity is a condemned and forbidden act."

Morocco inked defense contracts with Israel in a visit by Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz to Morocco.

Gantz and Defense Minister Abdellatif Loudiyi reached an army agreement and inked a "pioneering defense memorandum of understanding” besides Moroccan acquisition of Israeli drones and "advanced weapons" schemes.
