(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov. 28 (Petra) --The elections for governorate councils, municipal councils, and the Amman Municipality Council will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, according to a decision issued Sunday by the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission.
The commission said that it is ready to conduct the elections in accordance with legal principles and in cooperation with the partners of the electoral process.
The Council of Ministers decided, in a session held last Wednesday, to move forward with the elections of governorate councils, municipal councils, and the Amman Municipality Council.
