Saudi Arabia: Aviation firm flyadeal empowers female workers on its fleet


(MENAFN) Saudi budget air company flyadeal seeks to develop and support domestic female experience, as it is growing its crew by Q4 of 2022, the firm’s chief commercial officer said to Arab News.

The least-in-number airline crew has 15 A320 narrowbodies and it plans to take in additional aircraft of the A320 Neo type, stated Ahmed Albrahim.

He predicts that the crew of airline could get to around 30 aircraft by Q4 of next year.

Albrahim mentioned, “We are very proud that we are creating jobs for our young Saudi talents, this year we recruited close to 130 females.”

The company seeks to enhance the abilities of Saudi Arabia’s women in the air travel sector, he further said, mentioning: “We have the first chief people officer, which is a female, also the first female airport duty manager, and first female pilot.”
