Qatar - OC Padel Tournament by Ooredoo concludes


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The QOC Padel Tournament by Ooredoo concluded Saturday. The third edition of the tournament was held at the Ali Bin Hamad al-Attiyah arena and Khalifa Tennis and Squash Complex with participation of more than 600 players.
Executive Director, Business at Ooredoo Thani al-Malki, chairman of Board of Directors of Sports Corner Jabor bin Saleh al-Mosalam, Executive Director of Al Sadd Sports Club Turky al-Ali, General Manager of The Zone Danial Storey, Secretary-General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation Tariq Zainal and Director of PR at Ooredoo Qatar Sabah al-Kuwari crowned the winners.


Carlos Lopez Hidalgo and Gonzalo Sacho won the men's category A title

Carlos Lopez Hidalgo and Gonzalo Sacho won the men's category title after beating Guillem Blasi and Pablo Gomez Molpeceres in the final.
Cristobal Diaz and Hani Mohamed claimed the title of category B, while Abdulla Kafoud and Mohamed Hassan al-Yafei won in Group C. Beltran Choya and Javier Maluf hoisted the trophy in Juniors U16 Years category.
In the women's, Araya Suksomrup and Theresa Reynolds took first place in Category B while May Sy and Rojimar Gomez claimed Category D title. Jassim al-Mulla and Ishaq al-Hashimi won the QOC Employees Padel Tournament.
Tournament Director Nasser al-Modahka hailed the success of the QOC Padel Tournament. He also thanked the sponsors for their support to the Qatari Sports and to padel in particular. The QOC organised the tournament in its efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness of importance of practising sport.
