KSA removes travel ban on India, Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Brazil, Vietnam

(MENAFN) On Thursday, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior declared that direct flights to and from six nations are going to continue again from December 1.

The ban, made a year ago to limit the spread of Coronavirus, is going to be removed on flights from India, Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Brazil as well as Vietnam. Foreign inhabitants of the country have welcomed the removal of the ban.

Wasim Khan, originally from Pakistan have stated, “I haven’t been to Pakistan since 2019 and didn’t want to risk being stuck. I’m so happy, I called my family crying and will book as soon as they open flights.”

The ministry declared that people coming from the six registered nations must spend five days in quarantine in spite of their vaccination status, but those who have been entirely vaccinated in Saudi are excused from the quarantine.
