Ukraine plans construction of three airports


(MENAFN) Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky announced, the creation of a countrywide airline, the building and renovation of airports and the renewal of Ukraine’s aviation structure are essential targets for the regime in future years.

Zelensky made the previous announcement on Thursday, Nov. 25 at the meeting “Big Construction: Aviation. Tourism” as reported by a Ukrinform reporter.

The president stated, “The launch of the national air carrier, new modern airports – it's not about some isolated cases, it's about dozens of new modern airports. It's a big step forward. The transformation of Boryspil International Airport into the most powerful Eastern European air hub, the revival of modern Ukrainian aircraft construction and the strengthening of cooperation in the Ukraine-EU format are the main goals for us, for the [Infrastructure] Ministry, for the Big Construction program, which we set for ourselves for the next few years.”

He additionally said, the innovation of airports is an industry which Ukraine specializes huge amounts of investments for.
