Romanian Prime Minister creates new government


(MENAFN) On Thursday Nicolae Ciuca, Prime Minister of Romania appointed with creating the new government, got a vote of confidence in the parliament after President Klaus Iohannis inked the related decree.

After the Social Democratic Party (PSD), National Liberal Party (PNL), along with Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) in the parliament decided on a rotating prime ministry, Ciuca, the previous military chief and defense minister, took duties as the coalition's first prime minister.

The Cabinet created by Ciuca was employed by 318 votes to 126 in the parliament. Talking at the swearing-in event after the vote, Ciuca stated: "The interests of the Romanian people are above political troubles and pride.”

Ciuca emphasized that the Romanian citizens have been waiting for this day since forever, saying: "We will guarantee the stability and development of Romania with all measures and decisions we will take for the good of citizens."
